Corporate retreat

Executive yacht retreats,
not conference rooms.

A corporate retreat is supposed to change how a team thinks. Most of them happen in a hotel that looks like every other hotel, with a coffee break at eleven.

NAORA runs executive yacht retreats for 10 to 12 guests aboard a 24-metre Lagoon Eigthy2 that never stops sailing. Your leadership team, board or top performers join the yacht along its global route, work where they want to, and step off in a different harbour.

Why at sea

What a luxury leadership off-site gains on the water

No meeting room

Strategy conversations happen on deck, at anchor and over dinner. Without a projector and a U-shaped table, people say what they actually think.

A venue that moves

A hotel is the same on day one and day five. The yacht wakes up somewhere new each morning, and the day is shaped by the coastline in front of it.

Hierarchy fades

Titles matter less when everyone shares the same deck, the same meals and the same horizon. Decisions that stalled for months move in a single afternoon.

One group at a time

The yacht is never shared with another company. For the length of the retreat it belongs to your team alone.

Nothing to organise

No venue sourcing, no catering quotes, no transfer logistics. Guests fly in, step aboard, and the passage continues with them on it.

Remembered for years

An off-site in a conference hotel is forgotten by the next quarter. A retreat at sea is retold — and seen by everyone who was not invited.

A day on board

The agenda writes
itself.

Morning

Sunrise, breakfast on deck, and the working session while the yacht is under way.

Midday

Anchorage, swimming, diving or a shore landing, depending on where the route is.

Afternoon

Open sessions, one-to-ones or nothing at all — the deck is the room.

Evening

Dinner prepared on board, then the part of the retreat nobody schedules.

Where

One route, many retreats

The yacht follows a single continuous global passage. Pick the week, and we confirm which stretch of the route your group will sail — so no two retreats are ever the same programme in the same place.

Organisations can use up to 30 days a year, split across several groups. See corporate weeks at sea for the full overview.

Questions

Executive retreats, answered

What is an executive yacht retreat?

An executive yacht retreat is a corporate retreat held on board a private yacht instead of a hotel or conference centre. The group lives, works and travels together for the duration of the retreat, and the venue changes every day as the yacht continues along its route.

How many people fit on board?

The Lagoon Eigthy2 hosts 10 to 12 guests. That size suits a leadership team, a board, a founding team or a group of top performers — small enough that everyone stays in one conversation.

How long does a retreat last?

Most groups sail for a week. Longer programmes are possible: an organisation can use up to 30 days a year across several groups.

Where do the retreats take place?

The yacht follows one continuous global route, so the region depends on the time of year. You tell us when the retreat should happen and we confirm which stretch of the route matches.

Who organises the programme?

NAORA does. Crew, chef, provisioning, navigation, port clearances, diving, water sports and shore excursions are all handled on board, so your team only has to decide what they want to work on.
